Principal Interior Designer
Melissa has been a residential interior designer since 2002. She excels at space planning and has the ability to visualize what a final space will look like long before the project is finished. Her love of interior design is infectious and she brings that joy to each project. In June of 2014 Melissa was selected to be the featured designer on an episode of HGTV's House Hunters Renovation. The show will air on January 17, 2015 at 10pm on HGTV network.
Lauren Luter, Design Associate
Lauren brings decades of interior design industry experience to Hammond Design. Whether it's tracking down just the right material for a project, checking on an order, or coordinating an installation, Lauren handles each task swiftly, ensuring each project is running smoothly.
At Hammond Design we approach each project by listening carefully, taking copious notes, and striving to make each space work how you need it to. We provide floor plans, furniture layouts, elevation drawings, and construction documentation so you can see how the finish spaces will be organized. Once the working details are finalized we collaborate with you on the aesthetics to make the spaces look cohesive. The result is intelligent, refined spaces that reflect who you are and how you live.
We offer an initial 1.5 hour meeting to discuss your design aesthetic and give you guidance to make the most of your home. When our meeting ends you will have a targeted budget and a plan of action for you project.
